Atelier GK is a multidisciplinary design practice based in the Netherlands, specializing in architecture, interiors, product design, photography, and filmmaking.

Founded in 2024 by Gönül Karahan, Atelier GK boasts a diverse portfolio shaped by Gönül's rich background and experiences. Gönül's architectural journey began in Turkey, her birthplace, where she pursued her formal education in architecture. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Izmir Institute of Technology before obtaining a master's degree from Uludağ University. Throughout her education, Gönül cultivated her passion and honed her skills, gaining invaluable experience at the most renowned architectural offices. Her professional journey led her to contribute to numerous projects of varying scales, spanning architectural design, interior design, and product design, in esteemed architectural offices both in Turkey and the Netherlands. This breadth of experience not only deepened her understanding of design principles but also nurtured her creativity and vision.

Enriched by her educational background and professional experiences in both Turkey and the Netherlands, Gönül fulfilled her long-standing dream of establishing Atelier GK. Through her eponymous design atelier, she endeavors to create bespoke designs that bear her unique signature, blending artistic flair with technical proficiency.
